Dear Tom, Ash and colleagues I am touched by this public display of congratulatory e-mails. While I certainly feel honored and privileged by this recognition, it is actually participation at this group that has proven both intellectually aspiring and professionally rewarding. Over the years, I have learned so much from both of you and many others on the group reminding me that we all ought to remain students at heart for the rest of our lives (titles really serve a different social function). Participation in this group - that has retain its remarkable civic and non-intimidating character- has done more for me than all those days of formal schooling- it is like going everyday to the most interesting class, with the best teachers and colleagues one can possibly have coming from all around this small world. Thank you again, my friends.
