Hi Rose (and everyone else) Thanks for the invite. (Despite the fact that this is in the first week of semester 2 teaching!) I'm keen to attend. You haven't provided details of the planned programme for the day, but since you mention sharing innovative/effective practice, I wonder if it would be a good idea to pose a couple of questions in advance - such as 1. What steps is your institution taking in response to the promises made in the employability statement that it will have published on Unistats in August 2010 (and what are these promises?) 2. What employability-related initiatives are you involved in within your own institution and beyond that you think may be of interest to the group? Perhaps participants could be asked these questions in advance, and one session at the event could be to summarise 1 and give participants the chance to say something about 2. What do you think?
