Hello Colleagues, My name is Stephen Paparo. I am a doctoral candidate in music education and choral conducting at Michigan State University and a certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method®. My dissertation will explore the concept of embodiment in music, specifically in a choral music classroom. My hope is to understand how the conductor and singers understand and apply knowledge of the body in relation to their music learning and performance. I am pleased to be a part of this group.
