visual artist Claire Weetman.
'Latitude
- artist map making' opens this Friday 19th November at Manchester Modernist
Society and features Claire's animation 'Chatham Road
(Eventually Everyone had Moved)'.
This work was produced as part of Liverpool Biennial's Art for Places
Wirral and tells the story of the displaced
residents of a housing regeneration area.
Claire
has two works exhibited at the St Helens Open; 'Crossings: Nibelungen Bridge' and
'The Space Between' were both created
during Claire's
participation in the Urban Interventions residency at Atelierhaus Salzamt, Linz, Austria.
Also,
take a look at Claire's website, which has been updated with artworks from the
past two years - there you will find new images and
information in the gallery section and you can keep up to date by subscribing to the news page.
