A book launch  for  David Webb's Thinking About Suicide produces a volley of posts but none about the book. How strange!
I feel I must write from Down Under and urge you to read this book and contribute to the list with your thoughts and reviews.
David is a  very honorable guy, deserving of  respect, working hard in the Australian Disability Movement. He is a suicide survivor who has completed his PhD and now has published his work. I met David when he was speaking out about 'mental health' issues in a respectable academic conference and was threatened with being thrown out. He did walk out. We met in crip solidarity (:-
CONGRATULATIONS David!
Whatever your take on 'mental health, 'madness' 'psychiatric impairment' it is important to read his work.
It can be bought in English pounds (£13.30) from PCCS-BOOKS in Ross on Wye.
