I love the idea of that.

Perhaps we should have a  Friday speculation on which celebrity will be 'exposed' first! Will it be Brad or Angelina? Perhaps Little Leo?

Tim,
It will hit the media attention when we see a scan of a famous celebrity on the web.  This will capture the imagination.  Given the way the entertainment industry works, I am surprised that this has not already been considered and will be developed.  There is a decent script idea in this story which hollywood would develop.

Presumably the scanner suffers from the same technical issue as modern photocopiers in that it necessarily stores all images on a hard drive or equivalent.

What amazes me is that this story never took of and flew, so to speak. I wonder if it got buried in the press by the story about the US traveller who video, well at least audio, recorded his refusal to be scanned by the more intrusive scanner and subsequent refusal to be sexually assaulted (his description) by a pat down?

Has there been further reaction to this from any official source aghast at the issue that anyone has seen?

A Gizmodo investigation has revealed 100 of the photographs saved by the Gen 2 millimeter wave scanner from Brijot Imaging Systems, Inc., obtained by a FOIA request after it was recently revealed that U.S. Marshals operating the machine in the Orlando, Florida courthouse had improperly-perhaps illegally-saved images of the scans of public servants and private citizens.

How long before this happens in the UK?
