RGS-IBG 2011: Call for PERG session proposals

The Planning and Environment Research Group (PERG) is pleased to present a call for sponsored sessions for the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference in London 31st August-2nd September 2011. The conference chair is Stephen Daniels (University of Nottingham) and the theme is 'The Geographical Imagination' (see www.rgs.org/ac2011 for more details).

We welcome proposals within PERG's remit of environmental politics and policy, land use planning and environmental planning, and also those that directly engage with the conference theme. More details about PERG can be found at: http://www.rgs.org/OurWork/Research+and+Higher+Education/ResearchGroups/Planning+and+Environmental.htm

Research Group sponsorship can provide promotion for your session, help manage timetabling clashes for parallel sessions and enable you to bid for money for Research Group guests. Each Research Group may only sponsor a limited number of sessions and to fit with RGS deadlines, we would like to call for session proposals that are seeking PERG sponsorship to be submitted for consideration by 28th November 2010.

To propose a session for PERG sponsorship, please send your session abstract (max 400 words) to Frances Fahy ([log in to unmask]) and Sara Fuller ([log in to unmask]).
