The British Film Institiute's quarterly audiovisual club teams up again with onedotzero and Musion Technology, the world leader in 3D holographic projection, to present an exclusive one-off and FREE night of AV performance. Artitsts alongside D-Fuse incl. Hexstatic's Stuart Warren-Hill, Shantell Martin, 10SUI. D-Fuse will be performing a specially configured version of their live AV set Particle, collaborating with Brun from Swayzak.

D-Fuse will be performing multi-screen A/V set Particle at the 14th edition of Cynetart.  The Dresden based media art festival provides a platform for interdisciplinary creative projects, with a strong roots in art, science and new media. Other artists in this seven day festival include work by Ulf Langheinrich, Francisco López, and Annie Hall.

22 NOV ¬ CYLINDER #2 - HEAVEN 17 PENTHOUSE AND PAVEMENT DVD.
A collaboration between D-Fuse and Labmeta, Cylinder is the latest in a series of experiments in the processing of analogue imagery into architectural light structures. Originally developed on the D-Tonate_00 DVD and D-Fuse/ Scanner's "Light Turned Down" performances, Mike Faulkner and Paul Mumford have been continuing the process in collaborations with different artists. The latest in the series, Cylinder#3 in the study is a one minute film produced with the German artist Hauschka that has been selected for screening at this years onedotzero festival, as part of a 'Linear installations' programme in the studio space during the whole festival. Cylinder#2, which was commissioned by Heaven 17 to create the video for 'Rise of the East' [taken from the album 'Music For Stowaways' and 'Music Of Quality And Distinction Vol.1'], will now be released on the Heaven 17's 30th Anniversary Special Edition DVD other artists incl. Ian Anderson [Designers Republic], Malcolm Garrett and Ross Phillips [ShowStudio].

Yota Space Festival is an audiovisual exhibition that will include the latest in digital art, interactive installations and innovative media, including works of AV:in contributors: D-Fuse, Lightrhythmvisuals, onedotzero and UVA. Using the Musion Eyeliner 3D Holographic Projection system, D-Fuse will screen an HD extract from  their A/V performance Particle.

OUT OF PRINT - VJ:AUDIO VISUAL ART + VJ CULTURE BOOK.
We have been told by LK [Laurence King] the publishers of D-Fuse's book VJ: Audio Visual Art + VJ Culture is now out of print! The book was released in 2006 worldwide by LK and in the US by Chronicle books. It was one of the first books of its kind documenting the AV and VJ scene has received some very positive reviews by The Wire and We-Make-Money-Not-Art. If you are interested in grabbing one of the last remaining copies, there are a few floating around on places like Amazon, etc.
