The combination of the Theatre Collection's existing holdings with the acquisition of the Mander and Mitchenson Collection will form an outstanding record of the history of British theatre. It will offer an unparalleled research facility, based in a University Department and open to all; from students and academic researchers to theatre professionals and the media, as well as family historians and interested members of the public.
