Hello list, I'm looking for an excellent numerate graduate (BSc or MSc level) interested in working on: CASE PhD studentship in Quality Assurance of Observational Data: A Bayesian Data Assimilation Approach. The project will develop a Bayesian inferential framework to infer observational quality using a combination of measurements of known quality and models of the spatio-temporal behaviour of the near surface meteorological fields. A range of models, including high resolution numerical weather prediction models will be used.
