Subject: Project Management tools and documentation

Hi all

Slightly ‘non-webby’ question!  Within our wider Marketing and Communications department (where the Web Team sits) we are looking at working more integratedly (is that a word?!) through the adoption of project management tools and techniques.  We don’t need full blown PRINCE as we don’t have projects on that scale, but everyone has been trained to the APM Intro certificate in project management level.

We are now at a point where we are ready to pilot the approach but are struggling to find useful documentation tools without buying all 18 of us a MS Project Licence.  Can anyone recommend a cheap/free Project Management documentation toolkit, in particularly a ‘scheduler’ with dependencies?

Cheers

C.
