Dear all I am involve in a project that is reviewing the literature that has investigated how to prevent signals passed with danger (SPADs)? I'm a Research Fellow at Aberdeen University , UK, however this is a new area for me and I would really appreciate some direction. There seems to be lots of information on SPADs, but less on prevention, apart from the Train protection and warning system (TPWS), and Automatic Train Protection Systems (ATP). Ultimately, it would be great to know what is being undertaken worldwide to prevent these incidents, so that they could potentially be implemented here in the UK.
