I have 104 subjects I would like to create a customized template only from 55 subjects, I run Estimate and write use DARTEL affine, then DARTEL create template step where I want to use only 55 subjects. What I am unable to understand here is for Estimate and write step I am inputting all 104 images out of which I am choosing 55 for customized template creation step, now after DARTEL create template step how can I register remaining 49 subjects to the customized template which I created and also whether the previous 55 subjects I used to create template are registered to the customized template that I created or the create warped template step is for this purpose. The reason I am asking this is I believe until unless all the subjects are registered to this customized template I will not be able to do smoothing, statistics etc. If I am wrong how does the customized template creation and the following steps work until you reach the stage to do statistics. It will be great if there is a flow diagram clearly showing all the VBM8 steps.
