Dear All,

I am new to SPM I trying to do VBM analysis on our data sets.

I would like to create customized template for our data set so I am following the processing steps in this order using VBM8 manual,

1) Estimate and write in all the subjects (104 subjects). I am checking on the option affine in DARTEL import

2) I am running customized template creation step, here I am not setting dependency but choosing a subgroup of subjects (55 out of 104) and then running customized template creation step

3) I am running create warped module on the remaining 49 subjects to get the remaining subjects warped to the template that I created in step 2. My question here is do I need to run this (create warped) in all 104 subjects i.e including those who were used to create template or what I am doing by warping 49 subjects to the template is correct. What does this step exactly does?

I am also wondering what the file name "rp1subject1_affine" means i see r in it which from naming terminology means r-DARTEL warped p- segmented but at the end i have  _affine saying that it is only affine transformed so why r in it exactly what does this image mean. Also I would like to know what wrp1subject1 means w-stands for warped, r-for DARTEL warped why there are two warpings, if so are they different.

Thanks

Venkat
