Dear All,

The North East Post-Graduate Research Conference is interested in showcasing research from post-graduates in medical, biomedical or health studies related areas.

Delegates are welcomed from all North East universities including; Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside.

Abstract submission has now closed, but registration is open for delegates who wish to attend the conference. Registration is free so please visit www.nepg.org.uk to reserve your place.

Guest speakers include Prof. David Colquhoun, FRS and Dr. Simon Cutler. David is a British pharmacologist at UCL, where he researches single ion channel mechanisms. Simon is Senior Innovation & Skills Programme Manager at the BBSRC and is responsible for strategic management of skills-related Studentships, Masters and Fellowships programmes.

Prof. Jeff Errington, Director of the Institute for Cell and Molecular Biosciences, will be closing the conference with a prize giving ceremony.

The conference will be held on Friday 5th November at the Kings Road Centre in Newcastle.
