Yes I heard about it but haven't seen it yet - will most certainly be watching it for some ideas for MSF 2011!

Hi Peter,

I am guessing your in London, but we have an event running at Manchester Science Festival today called Seeing is Believing http://www.manchestersciencefestival.com/whatson/seeingisbelieving. It's gone down really well. You might not be able to attend, but if it's at all relevant you could contact Pam Buchan, Regional Officer for the North for the British Science Association who should be able to put you in touch with the man behind the event. http://www.britishscienceassociation.org/web/_ContactUs/_PamelaBuchan.htm

Hello all,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I’m developing a science series for channel 4 called “The Human Experiment”. It will look at how amazing the human brain and body is through a series of revealing experiments on real-life people. Each episode might look at a different theory and test it e.g. Men are more attracted to blonds, ginger people feel more pain. I wondered if anyone could point me to a useful resource that shows interesting psychological/physiological experiments that test ideas like the ones I mentioned.

We’re also looking for new talent to present the show, so if any of you know good medical/psychology scientists that would be good on TV then do let me know.

Thanks and all the best,

Peter
