Hi,

I am currently doing the Aberdeen distance learning degree and yes, you are required to find your own clinical placement and mentor. However, the support provided by the university is brilliant, they have helped me through many a sticky situation.
I recommend this course to anyone looking to do their degree distance learning, it is hard work and a lot of dedication is required but worth it. However, it is a two year course not one year.
