The Identity, Conflict and Representation Research Centre at the University of 
Derby will be hosting a seminar by Dr David Holloway on 'Whitman at Ground Zero: 
Peter Josyph, Citizen Artist' on Wednesday 6 October at 1pm in N613 at the 
Kedleston Road site. The talk will discuss the re-emergence of traditions of 
public culture in the United States after 9/11 by looking at Peter Josyph's 
Liberty Street (2005), a book and film about the recovery effort around Ground 
Zero between September 2001 and March 2003.

The event is open to all and is free to attend. For further information please

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
