Introduction by Professor David Sanjek - 200 Motels (1971)

This 1971 feature documents the score by Frank Zappa and appearances and performances by members of the Mothers of Invention and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in addition to Ringo Starr (playing Larry the Dwarf) and Keith Moon (playing a nun). Shot live on videotape and transferred post-production to film, it is a visual extravaganza and a surrealistic evocation of life on the road for a rock musician.
