We are investigating moving to a DVD subscription scheme rather than charging per title for loans. (ie charging a monthly or annual membership for renting DVDs. ) Would anyone who has done this in the past be willing to share some of their experiences? In particular - Why did you move to a membership / subscription scheme? How did you arrive at your charges? Is the membership compulsory or can borrowers still pay per title borrowed? Which method makes the most income? I could find nothing relevant in the archive back to Jan 2007. I will summarise for the list but will remove names to protect the innocent. Thank you.
