The Internet2 K20 Initiative (the educational high
speed network in the States) is looking for UK public libraries interested in
participating in cultural exchange events across the Atlantic.
Specifically, several US public libraries with active book
clubs are interested in connecting with other book clubs in libraries in the
UK via videoconferencing.
If you have an active book club that might enjoy going
global and using videoconferencing please let me know, and we can help to
connect up your libraries.
