The Asian University for Women invites applications for an appointment at the Assistant Professor level to begin in the fall of 2011. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, or a closely related field, and have experience in teaching introductory level psychology and cognitive neuroscience courses at the undergraduate level. Applicants able to teach a range of topics in psychology and neuroscience are desired. Possible courses include The Mind, Introductory Psychology, Introductory Psychobiology, Cognitive Psychology, and Cognitive Neuroscience. AUW values a strong commitment to research, a promise of successful scholarly engagement, and dedication to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment.  The teaching load is two courses per semester. AUW offers a competitive package of salary and benefits, including housing, for faculty members, their families, and domestic partners.
