Once the numbers are all - 350, 550, 2 degrees etc - one has surrendered
fully and completely to the logic of capital and any action can be
justified, as long as the numbers are achieved.

Check out Solutions' new feature article: "Geoengineering: The Inescapable
Truth of Getting to 350" by Charles H. Greene, Bruce C. Monger, and Mark E.
Huntley.

While geoengineering may be one of the most controversial solutions
proposed for getting to 350ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere, the authors argue
that it will be essential to reaching this goal by the end of this century.
The authors believe that one technology in particular has great promise, if
paired with an aggressive emissions-reduction plan.
