Marrissa et al,

I have asked the same question and have been directed to relevant (but too technical) references. I have decided to use "R" in resampling beta and normal distributions of continuous data. In short, I would love to see some WinBUGS code for a mixture model and a hierarchical model on continuous data with the corresponding data set. I learn best by reverse-engineering examples. Sending me to book chapters is inefficient - for me.

Thank you in advance for examples, sample code, and data for WinBUGS!

As part of a PhD I have undertaken a conventional weighted mean difference (WMD) meta-analysis of a continuous variable (absolute change from baseline to follow-up with SD) for several treatments (exercise types) on the outcome of interest.  I am now interested in undertaking a mixed treatment comparison of the data in WinBUGS.  I have some experience of running MTCs in WinBUGS through work, but have only undertaken analysis of dichotomous outcomes (ORs) using the free to download models from the University of Bristol website (http://www.bris.ac.uk/cobm/research/mpes/mtc.html).  I am not a statistician, and do not have experience to code my own model for continuous outcomes and wonder if these models might be downloadable from another site, or published elsewhere?
