Date for your diary: 31st Conference of Applied Statistics in Ireland (CASI) 2011 - May 18th-20th 2011, Galway, Ireland. The Statistics Group within the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Applied Mathematics in NUI Galway, in conjunction with the newly established HRB Clinical Research Facility NUIG, are hosting the 31st CASI in Galway from Wednesday May 18th to Friday May 20th 2011 on the Salthill Promenade. The conference is a forum for discussion of statistical and related issues for Irish and International statisticians with an emphasis on both theoretical research and practical applications in all areas of statistics. Confirmed invited speakers are Professor Murray Aitkin (University of Melbourne), Professor Paul Eilers (Erasmus Medical Center, University of Rotterdam), Professor Thomas Louis (Johns Hopkins University) and Professor Cathal Seoighe (NUI Galway). Contributed papers for oral and poster presentations are sought in all areas of statistics and data analysis.
