Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce a symposium "Partnerships and New Analytical Methodologies at the Interface of Chemistry and Art" to be held at the 241st ACS National Meeting & Exposition, March 27-31, 2011, in Anaheim, California. This one-day symposium will focus on the development or adaptation of analytical techniques for the analysis of cultural heritage materials, and how new and emerging partnerships (academic/museum and industrial/museum) foster such development. Zeev Rosenzweig, the NSF Program Officer instrumental in the creation of the new NSF SCIART program, will be the keynote speaker. A list of invited speakers will be announced shortly. This symposium is being hosted by the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry.
