Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce a symposium "Partnerships and New Analytical Methodologies at the Interface of Chemistry and Art" to be held at the 241st ACS National Meeting & Exposition, March 27-31, 2011, in Anaheim, California. 

This one-day symposium will focus on the development or adaptation of analytical techniques for the analysis of cultural heritage materials, and how new and emerging partnerships (academic/museum and industrial/museum) foster such development.  
Zeev Rosenzweig, the NSF Program Officer instrumental in the creation of the new NSF SCIART program, will be the keynote speaker.  A list of invited speakers will be announced shortly.

This symposium is being hosted by the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry.  Your abstracts are welcome and can be submitted by October 18th, 2010 at:
