Dear Charlotte,
We recently purchased four mannequins for our coal queens
exhibition from Equipashop, a shop and retail outfitters in Belfast. We found
them on the internet and they delivered very quickly. The mannequins that we
bought were under £50 each and had adjustable wooden bases and polystyrene
bodies with a removable fabric cover. We are very pleased with them and we
actually found with a very small boned dress that we could shave the
polystyrene body down to a tailor made shape to fit this specific dress.
Hope this helps

Hello
I have ‘some’ money
to spend on mannequins. They are being purchased for an exhibition next year on
costume – much of it from the 1950’s – so obviously will need
some small waists.
Has anyone purchased any good
mannequins lately? I would like to get as many as possible for my money
Many thanks
