Shakespeare – A German Writer
Acclaimed German actor Sebastian Koch (The Lives of Others, The Black Book) is joined by actor Philip Cumbus (Romeo and Juliet, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Macbeth) in an evening celebrating Shakespeare’s impact on German culture. The evening’s programme has been devised by Martin Swales and Godela Weiss-Sussex.
Readings in English and German will be complemented by extracts from German films, silent and modern, and introduced by Martin Swales.
