Shakespeare A German Writer

Acclaimed German actor Sebastian Koch (The Lives of Others, The Black Book) is joined by actor Philip Cumbus (Romeo and Juliet, Loves Labours Lost, Macbeth) in an evening celebrating Shakespeares impact on German culture. The evenings programme has been devised by Martin Swales and Godela Weiss-Sussex.

Readings in English and German will be complemented by extracts from German films, silent and modern, and introduced by Martin Swales.
