The EAUC, the sustainability champion for UK universities and colleges, has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional person Web Exchange Project Manager (2 year fixed term) Based at our Cheltenham office Grade 6 - £24,273 - £28,983 Ref: S791 The EAUC seeks to appoint a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of an exciting new Web-based Exchange Project providing an essential online user-focused site using the latest Web 2.0 technologies to encourage collaboration to build knowledge on a broad range of sustainability themes for the university and college sector. You will have excellent knowledge and experience of Web 2.0 technology and have the ability to utilise the appropriate technology for the best outcome for our users. You will be an active user of such technology and have a ‘digital footprint’. You will take on a wide range of challenging activities, drawing on a range of project and event management skills. You will have direct responsibility for key projects leading on programme research, construction, contracting, legality, financial planning, assessment, communications and evaluation and reporting. You will have a proven track record in project management and use of web technologies, with an understanding of the principles of sustainable development. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills. Self motivated, you are able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You have excellent organisational and time management skills and can work concurrently on a large number of different activities.
