The UK Data
Archive has a vacancy for a part-time Data and Support Services Officer for the
Rural Economy and Land Use programme Data Support Service (Relu-DSS).
The person appointed will be
responsible for validation, conversion, processing, enrichment, and preparation
for preservation and secondary use of research data, accompanying
documentation, and metadata resulting from interdisciplinary research carried
out within the Rural Economy and Land Use programme (funded by ESRC, NERC and
BBSRC).
Relu-DSS ensures that all data
managing and sharing activities are carried out effectively within Relu
research projects, with research data being digitally archived at the UK Data
Archive and the Environmental Information Data Centre; and made available to
the research community.
