I thought I was dreaming when I heard on the car radio that Phelps might be teaming up with Terry Jones. I always thought Phelps worked alone. Phelps is too imbecilic for one to even with death upon him, though his picket lines at funerals of returned soldiers is about as reprehensible an act as I can think of, especially since he sees the whole country run by "fags" and "fag lovers." When my younger son performed in a Goucher production of The Laramie Project back in 2003 everyone was hoping he would show up to picket it. Unfortunately the Phelpians and been to College Park only shortly before and probably didn't want to use up their frequent flier miles going to BWI twice in two months. All the same...Fred Phelps and a baseball bat upside his head...perfect together.
