Subject: Re: Mentors needed for
HLF project
Hi Clare
This is really good news. I might put my CV
forward, once I’ve had a chat with my line manager.
Can you tell me a bit more about the
specific areas the trainees will cover. Is it going to be mostly curatorial in
focus or more conservation orientated if you see what I mean?
Perhaps I’ll give you a call next
week.
Best, Jo

project
Dear
All,
As
part of a recently successful HLF “Skills for the Future” funding
award, Renaissance West Midlands, Renaissance North West, Leeds Museums and
Galleries, the Natural History Museum and the Natural Sciences Collections
Association (NatSCA) are looking for four to eight mentors for their curatorial
training programme. Starting sometime in December, curatorial trainees will be
taken on for a year in the
All
mentors will have their transport and training paid for by Renaissance West
Midlands (as the fund-holding body) and it is hoped any mentor would see this
as important to their own continuing professional development.
If
you are interested in applying to become a mentor, please send me a short CV by
the end of September. Successful applicants will be informed by the middle of
October.
