New Professionals Information Days 2010
Find the Passion
library and information work: the career that lets you work with the things you love
Organised by CILIP Membership Support Unit in partnership with the Career Development Group (CDG)
2 Dates, 2 Venues
Friday 1st October 2010, 09.30am - 4.00pm, CILIP, London
Tuesday 23rd November 2010, 1.30pm - 7.45pm, Newcastle Central Library, Newcastle Upon-Tyne
The New Professional Information Days are aimed at:
- students studying for a library and information qualification
- current students or recent graduates in other disciplines who are interested in a career in library and information work
- new professionals - those people who have qualified as library and information professionals in the past five years and are in their first professional posts
You do not have to be a CILIP member to attend the New Professionals Information Days
The New Professionals Information Days have been really successful over the past five years, with more than 450 graduates, final year students and new professionals attending.
We aim to make the day helpful, informative, fun - and FLEXIBLE
In both London and Newcastle the day has been organised to be as flexible as possible. This means that if you can only make it for part of the day you will not miss out.
