Scusate, non sono stata chiara. Cercavo una citazione precisa dove Dante porge, in primo luogo, la domanda sulla ragione del loro essere all'inferno, senza pero' fare nessun riferimento specifico alle loro circostanze, come invece succede nella maggiornaza dei canti. Quello che cercavo era nel sesto canto dove Dante inizia la sua domanda"Ma dimmi che tu se' che 'n si dolente loco se messo e hai si fatta pena".

Forse non ho capito la domanda: Dante chiede a tutti la ragione del loro essere all'inferno. Se non riceve, come in molti casi una risposta diretta, essa viene fornita da Virgilio o da altre anime.
