Was just watching and waiting for it to happen, been there many times, the BPS closed down the International Committee (I was a member) a few years ago - no reason was given, probably politically uncomfortable for them... I note that it took the move to form a BPS Section for Community Psychology, for the plan to emerge to set up a collective, and then you complain about the restraints of the BPS. Why don't you all wake up, and realise that YOU have been sluggish and unimaginative and self-indulgent in not acting together, rather than complaining about being excluded.
