Sorry, just a little note. I realise that the majority of names in my list could be considered poets who, in the eyes of mainstreamers, are in the avant camp, but who's work, in my opinion, does certainly not represent the typical idea of avant poetry as being willfully obscure or noticeably experimental etc. That is why I've chosen them.
