Subject: Computing options for quadriplegic userHello all
Could I request some advice on computing options for quadriplegic users, please? I don't have any specific expertise in this area and I'm trying to canvas advice for someone with primary progressive MS. He was a NaturallySpeaking user for years but his voice is now so weak that voice recognition is no longer an option. He has reasonable head movement and vision, and is not cognitively impaired.
Sadly, his wife and main supporter died last year and he is now very isolated. If there is a way of allowing him to at least open e-mails and browse the web this would be greatly appreciated.
He lives in Sheffield and if there are solutions, we would need to be able to contact someone who could do an assessment and make recommendations.
Thanks in advance for your help.
