Apologies for cross-posting

This afternoon The First Minister made a statement to Parliament about the Scottish Government's Legislative Programme for the coming year. In it Mr Salmond included proposals to introduce a Public Records (Scotland) Bill, marking a major milestone in our project to achieve new public records legislation and update the existing 1937 Act. The First Minister's statement will be available in the Official Report on the Scottish Parliament website tomorrow, see http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/business/officialReports/index.htm.
