Hello again dear SPM'ers, I have a question regarding explicit masking (under FMRI model specification): Suppose I don't want to choose or to leave out certain areas in the analysis (i.e., i want to perform a whole brain analysis), is there any point in using this option? I read in the manual (section 8.8) that it speeds up the estimation process - Will it be wise to use my SPGR image of the whole brain, have I got anything to lose if I do this?
