Hi John,

I think that what you see here is aliasing of your images in the phase encoding direction, which happens at acquisition. Is your phase encoding direction left-right?

See http://www.mr-tip.com/serv1.php?type=db1&dbs=Aliasing

You should scan a larger FOV, eg not cutting off the brain at the edges. You should consult your MR physicist.

So when im right this has nothing to do with image format conversions or thelike.

I am not aware of a trick to get rid of aliasing when the alias is in the original image.

Good luck,

Bas

Subject: [SPM] How to deal with the overlaped image files

Hello
I got a dataset of 3DT1. When I translated dicom-type data into image-type data, I got a problem. Two image data are overlaped
at the borders of each other. Can spm deal with the problem? Or can anyone tell me a way to solve the problem?
Best
