The competition is open to PhD students or Post-Doctoral research staff with research that could help Lloyd's better understand core risks, like climate change, and how our economies and societies will respond to them. Other categories in the competition include: * Natural hazards * Technological risks * Biological risks * Behavioural risks Prizes of £2,000 will be awarded for the best research paper in each category as well as an additional £3,000 for the best overall paper. The runner-up in each category wins £500.
