I am Mental Health trained.  Quetiapine popular drug of choice.  Side effects for about 2 wks very sleepy and increased appetite thereafter. Especially for carbs so exercise crucial to comply.

 i`m not mental health trained but seemm to see Quetiapine prescribed frequently these days. Consultant psych told me handy to fight the "fugue". I have no reason to argue with him - clients though find it hard to tolerate

What about Depakote, Olanzapine , Quetiapine or
Lithium? I'm an RMN, RGN, Dip D/N and OH Screening Nurse having worked in NHS for 25 yrs and 2 yrs now in private sector in OH .

Yes, although I think it's not a licensed use. Either that or Carbamazepine are becoming increasingly used for mood stabilisation.
