Cannot think of any reason why not? Taking blood is a routine task for me.......... and the more you do it the better you are etc!

Hiya,

My experience of 3 OH technicians has been fab! They worked very independently too – doing routine tasks including screening with automated machines.

As long as there are clear guidance and procedures in place and they are well supervised and competency assessed etc.... it works well!

Cheers,

Cath

I havent had any experience of OH technicians - can I ask others views on such or similar grades doing phlebotomy training to take bloods for Hep B antibodies?
