I can see their point to be honest. I `m sure that GP`s think - I have seen the individual, I have given advice, I have signed them off/referred for consultant opinion etc. Now this OH person wants me to repeat all this in a report in order to clarify/inform some form of employers management process. If you think about it - they also get requests from insurance companies, personal injury lawyers (hey! no win no fee!), diet companies (please consult with your GP before....)  and others that I`m probably unaware of. Doubtless requests like these go to bottom of their list of priorities. One of the reasons I rarely request them.....

I can beat that - mine is since beginning of June!

When I rang to chase it after 5 weeks I was told that 'we' were not a priority and that we would get the report when it suited the GP as the NHS came first. When I asked for an approximate time scale was told it could anything up to 3 months! I decided to let them get on with it, they were so rude so when they rang to say earlier this month it was ready and could we pay them before they release the report I told them it's no longer required!

Oh happy days...

Morning

this is not a Friday Funny!

I have now been waiting since July 2008 for a GP report. Is this a new record??

Obviously we have chased this, to no avail, and it's no longer required as the employee returned to work later that year but.......
