Hi Anna et al
I read this string with interest. Why would you want to keep doing screening in between job changes? What is the rational and what would you do if you found someone unfit? Make reasonable adjustments or sack them?
If there is concern for their health then they should already have been referred to OH. If not then the manager can deal with it. I am obviously excluding health  surveillance in this rational.
If there is a health problem then a manager should have highlighted it previously.
We do not see any staff who transfer roles unless they require additional clearance for EPP for example.
Back to the previous question - what is the rational and what is the outcome likely to be?
We know that there is very little value of PEQ's at a pre employment stage there is even less once someone is employed.

The Trust I used to work for used a Transfer of Employment form which, along with details of the employee's new department, asked if there were any changes to health since completing their PEHQ;

Please can I have some views on Doctors' pre-employment questionnaires?  Do others require FY1s in their trust who are moving to FY2 in the same trust to complete a new questionnaire? After last week I don't know anything any more with any certainty.......................
