And an excellent volume it is too! It is, perhaps, worth noting that among the grants towards the publication of this volume is one from the Lincoln Record Society, itself celebrating its Centenary this year and also publishing its 100th volume - a history of the Society by Dr Nicholas Bennett, also a member of the Canterbury & York Society's committee.
