‘Paying Attention’ – 6-10 September, Linköping, Sweden

The Digital Cultures Research Centre (University of the West of England) invites you to attend this exciting and challenging conference.
  
Paying Attention is concerned with the politics of search and its power to shape the digital media cultures of the web-native generation. Keynote presentations will be given by leading commentators including Bernard Stiegler, Michel Bauwens and Tiziana Terranova

This significant and timely trans-disciplinary intervention is convened as part of the European Science Foundations Humanities and Social Sciences conference program for 2010.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
