Members of CILIP West Midland Branch want to make sure colleagues are aware of the advantages of CILIP membership, and also to hear from members (and potential members) about what would attract them to participate in branch activities.

CILIP Membership

We were really pleased to have been asked to work with the CILIP Marketing Team and Hall Associates to help explore ways of growing membership. At a local level we do what we can as a committee to raise awareness of our activities and what being part of CILIP can offer individuals, but being part of this pilot takes it to a whole new level by drawing on external expertise and exploring new ways of engaging with our existing membership base.

Put simply, if each West Midlands member were to recruit a colleague from their workplace we could double our membership overnight. Granted, it's not always that simple; everyone is experiencing financial pressures - but for many people it's in these circumstances they need the support and benefits CILIP provide.

We are planning a session to talk specifically about this pilot project, to explore why it's worth joining CILIP and specifically getting involved with the West Midland branch.

The free event will take place on: Thursday 30 September between 6.00 – 8.00pm at the Shakespeare Memorial Room, Birmingham Central Library, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham, B3 3HQ. Map available at: http://bit.ly/at0nW5

Places are limited so if you would like to take part in the discussion please contact us at [log in to unmask].

We look forward to hearing from you!
