italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies Call for Sessions The conference of the Canadian Society for Italian Studies will be held from June 24 to June 26, 2011 at the Ateneo Veneto, in Venice, Italy. Sessions may be proposed on any aspect of Italian (or Italian- diaspora) studies: Language, Literature, Linguistics, History, Philosophy, Cinema, etc. In order to propose a session, please send the session title, a 50- to 100-word proposal, a short bio-bibliographical profile and contact information (name, affiliation, email, and phone) to the CSIS Secretary Elena Benelli ([log in to unmask]) and to the Vice-President Paola Basile ([log in to unmask]). Session organizers must be current or newly joining CSIS Members, and must register for the CSIS conference. The deadline for the presentation of sessions is December 1st, 2010.
