## Mineral and Historic Environmental Forum Workshops

The Mineral Industry Research Organisation (MIRO) are co-ordinating a series of one-day training workshops around England to explain and promote a best practice guide for dealing with archaeological remains as part of mineral development within the planning process. The workshops are provided free of charge with lunch provided. They have been sponsored by English Heritage through DEFRA and the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund. The days run from 10am to 4pm.
